Smart-Telecaster ZAO demo for 3G, 4G transmission for broadcasting fields in Hanoi and HCMC

Danmon Asia and Soliton successfully co-hosted an introduction and demonstration of the Smart-telecaster ZAO for 3G, 4G direct transmission for mobile broadcasting field in Hanoi and Hochiminh City 13 and 14 June 2016.

The event attracted the attention of more than 20 participants who are key technical teams in national, regional broadcasters, public-sector institutions and service providers throughout the country including VTVCab, VOV, VTC, Hanoi TV, VTV Brac and VTV Broadcom.

What differentiate Smart telecaster ZAO from its competitors is that Achieve a high quality transmission (1080i Video) by combination of “RASCOW” protocol and H.265 . H.265/HEVC provides superior video quality and up to twice the data compression as the previous standard 9H.264/MPEG-4AVC). Apart from the easy setup and simple operation, the equipment provides the safe transmission by separating the audio and video signal so that in the far-off area, the center still receives audio in case the video quality is changing gradually due to mobile network coverage. RASCOW Protocol Keep video and audio quality is done by reducing frame rate automatically and fast recovery.
